A healthy learning environment begins with educators who feel heard, valued, and supported.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Department, SVKM, continued its initiative towards promoting educator wellbeing by conducting Teachers’ Wellbeing sessions at B. P. College of Business Administration & S. K. Patel Institute of Management and Computer Studies on 2nd September 2026, followed by a session at K. B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research on 7th September 2026.
The sessions focused on helping educators recognise and respond to the emotional demands of their profession while making space for their own wellbeing. Discussions touched upon managing everyday stress, building emotional resilience, maintaining healthy boundaries, and developing sustainable self-care practices.
Through meaningful conversations, reflection, and interactive engagement, the sessions encouraged educators to look beyond their professional responsibilities and acknowledge the importance of caring for themselves. After all, when we support the wellbeing of those who nurture others, we strengthen the wellbeing of the entire educational community.
