Sometimes, the most meaningful thing we can do is pause, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves. 🌿🧘‍♀️
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, 10th October 2026, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Department, SVKM, organised an experiential wellbeing session titled “The Art of Relaxation – योगनिद्रा” for the teaching and non-teaching staff members of KSV/SVKM. The session was conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mechanical Hall, LDRP, Sector-15, Gandhinagar, with the aim of encouraging relaxation, mindfulness, and holistic wellbeing.
Led by Ms. Nikita Prajapati, Yoga & Wellness Professional, the session introduced participants to the practice of Yoga Nidra as an opportunity to slow down, release accumulated stress, and cultivate a deeper sense of calm and inner awareness. It emphasised the importance of taking intentional breaks from everyday responsibilities and making space for personal wellbeing.
The session encouraged participants to shift their focus inward, relax their bodies, calm their minds, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive environment. It served as a gentle reminder that caring for our mental health begins with recognising our own needs and allowing ourselves the time and space to rest.
Because wellbeing isn't just about doing more—it's also about knowing when to pause, recharge, and nurture yourself. 💚🌱
