However it sure shall take some effort to remain yourself and not how the world wants to see you.</p><p><strong>1) Remember</strong> <em>the perception of the world changes for you as per their convenience and it is vital that we as an individual do not get intimidated or deviated to being their toys of play.</em></p><p><strong>2) Remind</strong> <em>yourself every day to  love what you are, who you are and how you are and what you have to nourish our souls to self care, self love and show self compassion first.</em></p><p><strong>Accept</strong> <em>the strength and weakness first of yourself and then of others.</em></p><p><strong>Appreciate</strong> <em>what you have achieved, what you have gained and what you have given and what you have nurtured.</em></p><p><strong>Forgive </strong><em>to heal your old and new wounds, your weaknesses, your shortfalls and your decisions.</em></p><p><strong>Stop</strong> <em>Not all things go wrong because of you, not all things right are because of someone else.</em></p>    </div>

Relationships of any nature, whether parent-child, teacher-student, friends or romantic relationships, require both people to be invested in each other. This investment is primarily one of verbal and non-verbal communication, where both partners express their feelings and expect reciprocation. This open communication builds the foundation of honesty and respect within the relationship, solidifying its roots.</span></p><p style="margin: 0in"><span style="color: #0e101a"> </span></p><p style="margin: 0in"><span style="color: #0e101a">When a relationship is established upon clear and open communication, there is minimal room for misunderstanding, resentment and anger. When we ensure that there is two-way communication between partners and we express our positive feelings of love, praise, joy, and support, we deepen the bonds shared between both of them. It is imperative to verbally tell our partners/parents/friends/teachers/students that you appreciate them, or that you love them, and that you are grateful for them, it makes the other person feel valued and acknowledged.</span></p><p style="margin: 0in"><span style="color: #0e101a"> </span></p><p style="margin: 0in"><span style="color: #0e101a">These instances of positive communication safeguard your relationships from moments where confusion, anger or sadness starts to seep in. In those moments, remember to truly listen to your partner's feelings with an open mind, without becoming defensive, judgmental or dismissive. Active listening is one of the key elements of effective communication. A “fight” between two people should not always be perceived with the intention of winning or losing; in fact, it is a cry for help from two people who want to be seen, heard, and loved through empathetic and supportive communication.</span></p>    </div>

There is no doubt about how friendships leave the deepest imprints on our personalities, happiness, and success stories. Even the friends we make when we are three years old help us feel safe, loved, and joyful; likewise, our adolescent and adult friendships are anchors when we struggle through the challenging tides of life.</p><p>Dependable and close friendships are the key to both social and physical health because when we have relationships to help us, our body responds with lower levels of stress and lower distress on our heart health. Good friendships also ensure healthy habits, such as nutritious eating, fitness routines, and a conscious awareness of how to be fit and optimize our lifestyles.</p><p>Talking to a friend and giving them the trust of a confidant provides us with a safe space to share our fears, doubts, and frustrations. This emotional safety helps us recover from a bad day, a bad relationship, and the difficult consequences of our choices. These intimate conversations help us discover our inner dreams and resolve our inner demons. Our true friends help us with their unconditional encouragement to improve, enhance and not give up on ourselves. They teach us how to believe in ourselves. This faith in friendships lays the foundation for growing self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth.</p><p>Close friendships also serve as the most important factor in thriving in school and at the workplace. Both of these environments are often spaces of competition, where moral and emotional support can make or break your career.</p>    </div>

Parents who often handle situations through anger or emotional meltdowns tend to role-model the same coping skills to their children. Going for a holiday together as a family paves the way for cultural exploration, enjoying good food, exchanging and building new memories and above all, spending meaningful time together without the stressors of the daily routines.</h5></li><li><h5><span style="text-decoration: underline">Acknowledge every family member for his/her authenticity, differences, strengths and weaknesses:</span> Every member of your family will be unique, and when we acknowledge and celebrate this uniqueness, we bring our family closer by showing our trust and respect for them.</h5></li></ol>    </div>

       <h5>Having a baby is perhaps one of life’s greatest joys for a woman; motherhood is a blessing that brings new life into the world, and with it, an entire bouquet of experiences.</h5><h5><br />However, motherhood is not an easy journey; it is an experience of a roller coaster of emotions, a new role to understand, and unprecedented responsibilities to take on. While it takes a village to raise a baby, often, the new mother is forgotten. The woman who was doted over during her pregnancy suddenly feels a whirlwind of emotions, exhaustion, and hormonal changes deflating her joy. She has a new baby who is solely dependent on her, and the blues of post-partum changes tend to make her feel isolated in her journey.</h5><h5><br />With the growing influence of social media, parenting, and motherhood have now been attached to unrealistic expectations of what this journey should look like, and this pressure of being “perfect” and social judgment has led to a significant rise in post partum depression.</h5><h5><br />A new mother needs to be comforted with kindness and needs other women to support her in her journey and choices without judging her. She needs a partner who can shoulder equal responsibility for the baby as well as the house chores. She should be loved by her circle of friends and fellow mothers, who can reassure her that she is not alone. A mother should always be acknowledged for her tireless efforts and her unconditional love.</h5><h5><br />Maternal mental health has been on the decline for several years now, and it is time for all of us as a community, to start raising greater awareness about how emotions impact motherhood and what we can do to make motherhood a slightly easier journey to undertake.</h5>    </div>

In order to function with alertness, concentration, and productivity, along with peace and calm of the mind, one must follow these suggested tips: Avoid screentime at least one hour before your bedtime.</h5></li><li><h5>Avoid making your bedroom a space for work, meals, or other activities. Your bedroom should be your space for relaxation and rejuvenation.        <p>Contemporary times have given unlimited and untraceable access to substances to young kids and young adults. Research has shown that teenagers are most vulnerable to influence and can often turn to addictive substances without complete knowledge of how addictive or harmful they may be.</p><p>Substance abuse is no longer a problem limited to just urban communities; it is a grave problem being faced in both rural and urban settings, as the sale of alcohol, tobacco and drugs like marijuana has become rampant and often unsupervised. Children under 18, considered to be minors, are also being sold these aforementioned substances by illegal suppliers and shop owners alike. Vaping, which is the new form of substance consumption, often leaves no trace of smell or ash behind as cigarettes do. This makes it almost untraceable for adults to identify if their child is using a vape.</p>    </div>

Whether it is a walk in the park or immersing yourself in some art or music, this ‘down-time’ will re-energise you and prepare you for the next day at work.</li><li><strong>Meditate every morning:</strong> A simple 15-minute morning meditation can make a world of a difference in your day. It helps you align your body and mind and heralds in peace and mental strength to tackle all of your daily tasks. It also helps in releasing any carry-forward stress and negativity.</li><li><strong>Increase your efficiency and decrease procrastination:</strong> A large part of professional stress comes from procrastination. When we constantly leave things for later, our to-do list becomes longer and longer. Instead, you can start tackling your tasks in order of their priority as soon as you can. Making your work hours distraction-free will also make a significant difference in increasing productivity. When you are at work, focus only on your own.</li><li><strong>Stay true to yourself and your life goals:</strong> If a job or a career is making you persistently unhappy, ask yourself why you are pursuing this career.        <h5>This transition has led to more signs of depression and anxiety in teenagers, where the meanings and importance of social comparison and social acceptance have changed.</h5><h5>Young teenagers want to dress and speak a certain way primarily to gain acceptance in their peer groups and want to post ‘selfies’ which are often edited and enhanced digitally to gain more ‘likes’. These factors, added to the very real pressure of performing well in school, have led to a decline in how adolescents feel.</h5><h5>Parents and teachers now need to become more alert and watchful for symptoms where their child or students acts strangely; this could include signs of being very irritated, anxious, isolated from real social connections, strong mood swings, and declining academic performance. At this stage, the parent or teacher must create a safe space for the child to have an open and honest conversation about their feelings.</h5><h5>School counsellors and other professional therapists should also be approached if your assess that the situation is becoming serious for your child’s well-being.<br />Acceptance from the family and a non-judgmental approach will not only increase a teenager’s self-esteem, but will also enable healthy relationships within the family.</h5>    </div>
